Connection to the Internet through your operator's network

If you are not using Wi-fi (or have an older phone which does not support Wi-fi), you will need to have a working Internet connection from your mobile phone to your mobile phone operator's system. Make sure that have defined the Access point correctly. Rather use an "Internet" than a "WAP" access point. If in doubt ask your operator! VirtualRadio is a typical 3G application, but it can also be used on GPRS and EDGE networks.

WARNING!

Listening to VirtualRadio through your operator's network will create a lot of download traffic! If you are not having a "flat rate" payment plan, the unlimited download of sound can become very expensive very quickly! If in doubt, ask your operator! If you are using modern phones' Wi-fi capabilities you can connect directly to the Internet (WLAN) and can avoid all operator's costs.
